I rediscovered running after a twenty year layoff in 2006. I began training for the Chicago Marathon in the spring of ′06 and with the help of club members I not only completed my first marathon, but succeeded in making my goal time. Since then I have continued to look for more challenging races, and have very much enjoyed my involvement with the PSRR. I have met so many great people through running; I always look forward to getting together with everyone for a group run or a race.

During the week I train at Dellwood Park in Lockport and on the weekends I can usually be found either at Waterfall Glen or at the towpath in Channahon. I have run at least one marathon every year, however I most enjoy running half marathons.
